Bodensee
The Bodensee is a lake of 3 countries. With respective shore sections, the "Swabian Sea" borders Switzerland, Germany and Austria. We also speak of Untersee and Obersee - and not to forget the Rhine, which flows through the lake from Fussach to Stein am Rhein and leaves again at the imposing Rhine Falls.
Lake & Mountain
The Lake Constance region scores points with vacationers above all for its diversity: from the gentle Lake Constance to the famous lookout mountain, the Pfänder. In Bregenz, Lake Constance and Bregenz's local mountain, the Pfänder, form probably the most exciting connection.

On the one hand, you have an impressive view from the harbor basin directly to the top station of the Pfänderbahn and follow the gondola as it constantly changes. On the other hand, after a 7-minute ride, you can look out over the whole of Bregenz and the surrounding communities from the viewing plateau. Spectacular and exciting but also with an impressive far-reaching view that lets you rest in peace.
